Just Survive
Revival

Reconstructing the services and systems required to bring the final Just Survive client back to life — with a faithful vanilla experience first and room for experimentation later.

Live Status

Project Status

The public infrastructure is beginning to come online.

Online

Website

JSRevival.com is online with secure HTTPS infrastructure.

Development

Reconstruction Lab

Automated binary analysis and protocol reconstruction tooling is under active development.

Not Public Yet

Game Servers

Public vanilla servers will open only after the final client initialization and world systems are reliably reconstructed.

Development

Roadmap

Preservation first. Expansion later.

Phase 01

Client Reconstruction

Map the final 2018 client behaviour, packet structures, initialization flow and runtime dependencies.

Phase 02

Backend & Protocol

Reconstruct the login, gateway and zone services required for a complete client session.

Phase 03

Faithful Vanilla Server

Restore the final Just Survive experience as closely as practical before introducing any experimental changes.

Phase 04

Accounts & Steam

Add website accounts, Steam sign-in and ownership validation for legitimate game owners.

Phase 05

Public Testing

Controlled player testing, server monitoring, moderation systems and stability work.

Future

Experimental Survival

A separate experimental environment may explore new building, AI, electrical systems and other gameplay ideas without altering the preserved vanilla experience.

Access

Game Ownership

The project is intended for legitimate owners of Just Survive. Planned public access will use Steam-based identity and ownership checks where technically possible. Original game files are not distributed by JS Revival.
The Mission

Preserve. Reconstruct. Survive.

Just Survive Revival is an independent preservation and interoperability project exploring the reconstruction of services needed by a legitimately owned legacy game client. Development is evidence-driven, with protocol behaviour and client systems being reconstructed step by step.
